In the midst of the growing violence between the cartels La Unión Tepito and La Anti Unión in Tepito and La Morelos, Carlos Jiménez, a well-known journalist, has shared shocking videos showing the mocking attitude of the members of La Anti Unión towards their rivals. In these videos, hitmen from La Anti Unión display themselves shooting, threatening through Facebook, and mocking the victims, as in the case of Angelo Daop Méndez and his mother.
The escalation of violence in the area has led to the deaths of several members of both cartels, including the recent death of Andrick Herrera from La Anti Unión and the shooting at his funeral, as well as the death of two young members of La Unión. In response to this situation, the Secretariat of Citizen Security has deployed more than 200 police officers in La Morelos to address the growing insecurity generated by this territorial war.
Amid this conflict, the participation of young hitmen, some under 12 years old, recruited by La Unión Tepito to confront La Anti Unión on the streets has stood out. Carlos Jiménez revealed on social media the identities of several members of La Unión, who, between the ages of 12 and 19, are already part of the hitmen in a violent dispute that has claimed at least 6 lives in recent weeks.
The mocking and threatening messages that the members of La Anti Unión spread through social media show the brutality and lack of scruples in this war between cartels, where even minors are involved as hitmen. The situation in Tepito and La Morelos is critical, with a scene of violence that continues to claim lives and leave a trail of destruction.
